EZone Safer Users

Hereinafter, wherever the word 'EZone Safer' comes in this document, it means 'EZone Safer [Your Company Name]' and wherever the word 'customer' or 'user' comes in this document, it means a person who has booked the vehicle from EZone Safer after agreeing with all of the below-mentioned terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Terms and Conditions: The terms and conditions are subject to change, and EZone Safer reserves the right to make modifications from time to time, without prior notice.
  2. Customer Responsibility: Customers are requested to view the policies every time before making a booking.
  3. Role of EZone Safer: EZone Safer is an online aggregator of vendors who rent out vehicles. It does not operate vehicle services of its own.
  4. Vendor Partnerships: With a fleet of vehicles of various kinds, EZone Safer has vendor tie-ups at different levels in different locations.

Membership Policy/Eligibility Criteria

A user shall be eligible for EZone Safer membership subject to the satisfaction of the following conditions:

  1. Age Requirement: The member should be at least 20 years old.
  2. Valid Driving License: Members should possess a valid driving license of India. In case he/she is not an Indian, he/she should have a valid International driving license.
  3. Clean Driving Record: This is wherein members shall be free from DUI or drug-related driving violations within the five-year period.
  4. Accident-Free Record: No record of accidents caused as a result of the member's driving.

Advanced Booking Duration

EZone Safer services can be booked online up to 2 months (60 days) in advance for all cities, bikes, and cars.

If your booking starts within 24 hours, please contact our customer care team before making any payment to check on the availability and complete your booking.

Cancellation/Return Policy

The user can cancel a booking through our customer care number, [insert phone number], or mail us at [insert email address].

Applicable refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within 7-10 working days.

Cancellation Charges:

  • More than 7 days before trip start time: 5% of the booking amount, 95% refund
  • More than 5 days before trip start time: 50% of the booking amount, 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before trip start time: 100% of the booking amount, no refund
  • Partial Payment Cases: NO REFUND

Refund Policy

  • Within 5-7 working days for most refunds, 2-3 working days for most deposit refunds.
  • Finally, refunds are given back to the original method of payment.

Registration Policy

Welcome to EZone Safer! To enjoy seamless and safe usage, all users are mandatorily required to register themselves with us.

Requirements of Registration

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date email address, contact number, postal address, and any other account information.
  • Be at least 20 years old and the holder of a valid Indian driving license; if not a citizen of India, an international driving license is required.

Account Responsibilities

  • Keep your information accurate and up-to-date.
  • Allow verification of documents by EZone Safer through relevant authorities.

Terms of Membership

  • EZone Safer has the right to refuse or accept any membership application.
  • A user cannot have multiple accounts.

Personal Information and Documents

Please carry the following documents to avoid any hassle with EZone Safer.

  1. Valid Driving License: Indian or International driving license.
  2. Original Identity Proof: Any one of the following:
    • Aadhar card
    • Passport
    • Voter Identity Card
    • PAN Card, etc.

Please show these documents at the vendor location before pickup. Failure to produce these documents may result in cancellation of your booking.

Use of EZone Safer Services

Only the registered members are authorized to drive the EZone Safer vehicles. A member cannot allow a non-registered person accompanying the member to drive the vehicle. A member whose driver's license has expired is not able to make bookings. EZone Safer vehicles are only for private use and not for commercial purposes such as carrying people around like a taxi. EZone Safer vehicles shall not be operated in racing, exhibitions, towing, pushing, or propelling of any other vehicle or object. Driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or narcotics that would impair normal driving is strictly prohibited. Such instances are subject to a zero-tolerance policy. The EZone Safer shall not be used for criminal or illegal activities. No member is allowed to drive and use a mobile phone or any other communication device that may distract from driving. Also, carrying prohibited things, including items declared illegal under the Indian penal code, weapons, sharp objects, or inflammable material is not allowed while driving. EZone Safer may cancel the booking if members are found carrying any of the above items. Vehicles shall not be driven while carrying or towing an object which may affect the stability, safety, and performance of such vehicle. EZone Safer vehicles can only be used in the Republic of India and are only subject to Indian laws. Vehicles shall not be driven in forbidden areas. These conditions are not exhaustive, and any negligent or abusive driving upon examination may be considered a violation. Illegal use shall be reported immediately to concerned authorities, and the service shall be suspended or cancelled. In such a case, the security deposit shall be forfeited to EZone Safer.

EZone Safer Bookings

EZone Safer users will need to make advance reservations before pick-up. The bookings will be made on a first-come-first-serve basis, and availability of a vehicle is not guaranteed at any point in time. All booking requests should be made at least 2 hours in advance of pick-up time. Requests with a time gap of less than 2 hours will not be entertained. Users can log on to the EZone Safer website or mobile app or call customer care to extend the booking duration. The extensions are still subject to vehicle availability for the requested period. Extra charges for the extended period will be calculated in accordance with regular rates; please refer to EZone Safer's fee policy below for details.

Important Notes

  • In the event that an extension request is denied, and a vehicle is not returned to the designated drop-off location on or before the end time of the original reservation, EZone Safer reserves the right to take immediate possession of such vehicle at that time, or at any later time and place.
  • Thereafter, from the booked end time, a late fee, an inconvenience fee, and other applicable charges will be charged to users until the vehicle is recovered.
  • Moreover, users shall also be liable for any extra cost incurred by EZone Safer in recovering the vehicle and shall not be compensated or provided substitute transportation.
  • Users will be responsible for all due expenses during the rental period, including parking fees, fines, tickets, etc.

Settlement of Claims Relating to Accidents/Theft of Vehicles/Loss of Vehicles during the Booking Period

In case the vehicle is damaged in an accident or the vehicle is stolen, or a case wherein the vehicle is lost or misplaced, the incident would get resolved mutually between the vehicle vendor and the user.

Pickup and Delivery of Vehicle

  1. The hirer inspects the vehicle for damages and satisfies himself/herself by test driving the same before taking delivery.
  2. On pickup of the vehicle, the hirer acknowledges the vehicle's condition to be in order to his satisfaction and discharges the vendor of all liabilities.
  3. The hirer receives the keys from the EZone Safer vendors at the time of taking delivery and is responsible for the vehicle's security. The vehicle should be locked securely while not in use.
  4. Returning the keys to the vendors signifies the completion of the delivery.
  5. If the vehicle is damaged during the hire, the hirer has to report the damage immediately to the EZone Safer vendors or customer support.

Insurance Coverage

EZone Safer vehicles are insured with all-India permits; however, members are responsible for the payment of all insurance excess amounts in the event of any damage to the vehicles.
